KBBS-Kingdom building between Sundays. I thought it might be good to explain what I mean by KBBS. Typically most of us reserve Sundays for church time or a reminder of the faith component in our lives. Yet a truly follower of Jesus does not just commit to one day a week. Just like a baseball or basketball fan dos not just commit to supporting a team one day a week or only when their team is winning. In fact for those of us who call ourselves Christians we should strive to exhibit our Christianity so that people around us will recognize we are Christians, without having a big sign on our forehead. There is an old question that asks, "Is there enough evidence in a court of your peers to convict you of being a Christian?"
I would ask myself do I show by my words and actions, in places besides church, that I am truly a follower of Jesus? Does my life between Sundays exemplify what it means to be a Christian? If I and you are a follower then we need to be followers every day of the week especially between Sundays. When do you exhibit your faith? Do exhibit our faith even when it is inconvenient, when someone cuts in front of us in line, when something happens to us that is not "fair," when we have to pay the price to be honest?
It is great to worship with fellow Christians on Sunday, but as followers it is just as important to be convicted of being a Christian, especially between Sundays.
Blessings on your conviction, Pastor Randy
